As much I love James Brown but this movie looks terrible

I saw this movie in my early twenties and was disappointed it wasn't like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. 10 years later it became my favorite Tarantino film. For everyone who hasn’t heard of Derren Brown and what he does, you might want to look into what his experiments actually are before jumping to conclusions about what this is, and how “illegal and unethical” it is. Not only do the people involved sign up to be on the show, they often find it a really eye opening experience and it changes their lives for the better. There are also several medical professionals on site, and therapists to ensure that there are no longer any long lasting negative effects on those involved. The purpose of these shows is to show the public the dangers of how they can be manipulated in different ways, which Derren Brown is incredible at doing, and they are always fascinating to watch, it’s not some sort of sick prank show, there’s a lot more going on than you see in this trailer. Also, there is no “psychological torture” going on. I’m going to go into spoilers here, but there’s around 30 seconds between the decision of whether or not to push, and Derren coming out and explaining that the guy’s fine, that they’re not murderers, and that they were being conditioned, and it was not their own fault (75% of people did push) In fact, after those 30 seconds, the participants not only get the relief that they’re not in the wrong, but they get the excitement that not only are they face to face with one of their heroes, but that they were actually accepted for the show they signed up for, and are usually extremely happy afterwards. Just, maybe actually look into what this was before complaining about it based on your own assumptions. Oh, and as a side note, it’s not a Netflix show, it’s one of Derren Brown’s several shows on Channel 4 in the UK, this one from around 2 years ago..
